Samsung Biologics announced a long-term manufacturing agreement worth $262 million with a European pharma company, with production commitments extending through 2033. The deal will be executed at Samsung’s Songdo manufacturing site in South Korea, according to the company. Samsung Biologics also said its cumulative contract value exceeded $21.9 billion after the addition and detailed that its portfolio includes 845 kL of manufacturing capacity across Korea and the U.S., following acquisition of a Rockville, Maryland facility earlier in 2026. The company is also planning Bio Campus III to expand dedicated R&D and manufacturing for next-generation therapeutics. The announcement signals continued demand for large-scale biologics capacity and supports the broader industry shift toward multi-year manufacturing partnerships tied to pipeline commitments.
