Braveheart Bio priced an upsized $382.5 million IPO to fund Phase III development of BHB-1893, an oral cardiac myosin inhibitor targeting hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Shares are set to begin trading on the Nasdaq under ticker BRVE. The company plans global Phase III studies in obstructive HCM and non-obstructive HCM, with timing expectations for oHCM in the second half of 2026 and nHCM in early 2027. Braveheart’s IPO capital will also support broad clinical expansion, after the asset entered the pipeline through a licensing relationship with Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals. Braveheart’s strategy highlights ongoing investor appetite for late-stage cardiovascular mechanism bets, particularly in the cardiac myosin inhibitor class where competition centers on dosing convenience and monitoring requirements versus established therapies.
