Electra Therapeutics filed for an IPO to fund Phase 2/3 development in immunology and oncology. The South San Francisco biotech plans to list on Nasdaq under ticker ETRA after the Labor Day holiday, according to its SEC filing, and said proceeds will support advancement of ipsoprubart for secondary hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (sHLH). Electra said ipsoprubart has received breakthrough therapy designation from the FDA and PRIME designation from the EMA for sHLH. The company also described Phase 1 results in malignancy-associated HLH, plus additional plans for development programs in T/NK cell malignancies and another candidate, ELA822. The filing adds to a still-active IPO pipeline for platform and clinical-stage immunology assets, with investors focused on designation-driven timelines and clear regulatory pathways.
