The funding supports ongoing registration-directed trials RUBY and Topaz, plus a Phase 2 study AMETHYST. The company framed the program as aimed at gout patients with limited treatment options, and said the proceeds should extend runway across multiple clinical and regulatory milestones. Crystalys also emphasized an experienced leadership team and named a syndicate of new and returning investors. A late-stage oral urate-lowering candidate entering the U.S. and Europe would add competitive pressure to existing gout management approaches if Phase 3 results reinforce efficacy, adherence, and tolerability in broader populations.
