Pumpkinseed, a Stanford spinout developing silicon chip-based protein sequencing technology, raised $20 million in a Series A round to advance from peptide sequencing toward full-length protein reads. The round was led by NfX and Future Ventures, with participation including Base4, AdVentures, and Stanford University.
