Watchmaker Genomics expanded manufacturing capacity with a long-term lease for roughly 100,000 square feet at Flatiron Park in Boulder, Colorado. The new site is expected to more than double manufacturing capacity and support growth across R&D, quality systems, logistics and operations. Watchmaker said the Boulder Manufacturing Center of Excellence will begin coming online in the second half of 2027 after completion and qualification. The expansion is tied to serving customers and partners at commercial scale while maintaining ISO 13485-certified quality management systems. For the sector, the move underscores continued infrastructure buildout behind molecular diagnostics and NGS supply chains—critical capacity for reagents and enzyme-based workflows that underpin throughput for genomics developers.
