Bristol Myers Squibb led a $237 million Series E round for Pathos AI, valuing the AI drug developer at roughly $3 billion post-money. The financing supports scaling Pathos’s Foundry platform, which the company describes as deploying many specialized AI agents to synthesize clinical, genomic, and competitive intelligence to choose next steps for drug programs. Pathos says the engine has already expanded its clinical-stage oncology pipeline to four active assets, including JSKN-016 (a TROP2/HER3 bispecific ADC), pocenbrodib, AZD4241 (in partnership with AstraZeneca), and DO-2. The new capital is earmarked to push programs toward registrational milestones. The round is another data point in how large pharma is funding agentic AI strategies to improve R&D throughput, while also tightening competitive positioning in oncology pipelines.
