Stanford researchers unveiled Biomni, an AI biomedical agent designed to function as an “expert collaborator” that can autonomously read literature, analyze data, write code, and plan experimental protocols. Unlike standard chatbots, Biomni is positioned to execute multi-step research tasks by creating an action space that bridges information extraction with laboratory workflow design.
