Cellares and Sonoma Biotherapeutics agreed to automate manufacturing for SBT-77-7101, an engineered regulatory T cell therapy in Phase I development for poly-refractory rheumatoid arthritis. Cellares said it will translate SonomaBio’s manufacturing process onto its Cell Shuttle platform and automate in-process and release testing using its Cell Q system, leveraging its Smart Factory infrastructure for scaled cell-therapy production.
