Samsung Biologics signed a $262 million manufacturing agreement with a European pharmaceutical company, with production commitments scheduled through 2033 at its Songdo site in South Korea. The deal reinforces Samsung’s long-term capacity strategy and extends its diversified global footprint after acquiring a Rockville, Maryland facility earlier in 2026. Samsung said its cumulative contract value has surpassed $21.9 billion following the new agreement. The company also flagged continued investment planning, including land secured for “Bio Campus III,” positioning the CDMO for next-generation modalities while it evaluates further capacity expansion and potential acquisitions.
