The Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) launched the BIO Investment Council (BIC) to improve capital access for emerging biotech companies and to advise on policies that affect early‑stage investment. Chaired by Doug Dieter of Ares Management with Nessan Bermingham as vice chair, the council will engage investors and BIO members to accelerate private capital formation and support events like BIO’s Investor Growth Summit.
