Viatris has agreed to acquire Pacira BioSciences in a deal valued at about $1.65 billion, the report says. The transaction would give Viatris established non-opioid analgesic products including Exparel bupivacaine and Zilretta sustained-release triamcinolone, expanding its presence in post-surgical and osteoarthritis pain treatment.
