Benchling announced integration of NVIDIA’s BioNeMo models and NIM microservices into its Benchling AI platform, enabling users to run Nvidia OpenFold2 predictions and other biomolecular models directly on Benchling without shifting data across tools. The initial rollout focuses on protein structure prediction, with plans to add generative modeling and property prediction features over time. Benchling said the move reduces infrastructure friction for scientists and accelerates iteration on experimental data; financial terms were not disclosed. The integration leverages NVIDIA’s pre‑packaged microservices to scale AI workloads for drug discovery and molecular design. Benchling’s co‑founder highlighted the partnership as a step toward shortening discovery cycles by embedding leading biomolecular models in the day‑to‑day workflows of bench scientists.
