Beeline Medicines secured an additional $126.3 million, bringing its total Series A commitment to $426.3 million to advance afimetoran and other immune-focused programs. The funds are earmarked for late-stage development and upcoming clinical catalysts, including data readouts expected for afimetoran, a once-daily oral therapy licensed from Bristol Myers Squibb and studied in systemic lupus erythematosus. Beeline also has a biologic candidate, BLN-326, and plans to initiate trials for additional programs targeting pathways including TYK2 and IL-18 receptors, with at least one additional candidate in preclinical work. Investor participation includes Bain Capital and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, alongside Bristol Myers and members of management, reinforcing the “spun-from-pharma assets” model for building advanced immune pipelines.
