Beckman Coulter Life Sciences and Automata announced a strategic partnership to embed Beckman’s liquid‑handling and analysis instruments into Automata’s LINQ automation ecosystem and support AI-ready lab workflows. The alliance aims to standardize modular, cloud-orchestrated workcells and produce structured datasets for agentic AI in wet labs. The collaboration pairs Beckman Coulter’s established lab instruments with Automata’s orchestration and robotics software to enable repeatable, scalable multistep experiments. Danaher Ventures also joined Automata’s Series C financing and will take a board seat to deepen strategic alignment. Automata separately closed a $45 million Series C round, with Danaher among the investors, to accelerate commercial deployments and build closed-loop experimentation tools. Together these moves aim to reduce variability in R&D workflows and accelerate data generation for AI-driven discovery.
