Infinimmune secured $75 million in Series A funding to advance two lead antibody programs targeting atopic dermatitis into the clinic starting in 2027. The Bay Area immunology startup is developing IL-22- and IL-13-directed biologics designed to achieve longer half-life and improved potency versus conventional monoclonal antibodies. The financing supports clinical work for IFX-101 and IFX-201, both built on Infinimmune’s “human immune repertoire” discovery approach. The company is positioning the programs as potential “first and best-in-class” options for a market already crowded with approved systemic biologics. With investors including Regeneron Ventures and Playground Global, Infinimmune is effectively raising stakes against established eczema franchises built around IL-4/IL-13 pathway blockade and other cytokine targets, while aiming for durable responses where current therapies may falter.
