Eurobio Scientific struck a distribution agreement with Canhelp Genomics for two molecular oncology assays across the UK, EU, and Benelux. The partnership covers the Canhelp-Uca urine assay for urothelial carcinoma recurrence monitoring and the tissue-based Canhelp-Origin assay for tumor-of-origin classification. The reported assays are CE-marked and run using Thermo Fisher’s ABI-7500 real-time PCR system. Canhelp-Uca measures an eight-gene mRNA signature, while Canhelp-Origin applies a 90-gene panel to distinguish 21 solid tumor types using formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded samples. Eurobio also expanded regional availability via a collaboration with Mirxes Singapore for distribution in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines. For diagnostics stakeholders, the deal is a clear step in scaling molecular oncology testing access through established laboratory instrumentation and distribution networks—key factors for adoption in recurring monitoring and classification use cases.
