The biotech reported disappointment in the Lumus study’s totality of patients with moderate-to-severe SLE. While the company indicated a prespecified subgroup analysis for patients with high interferon gene signature (IFNGS-high) showed signal separation, investors focused on the overall trial population where primary and secondary endpoints were missed. Alumis said it plans to move ahead with Phase 3 development in IFNGS-high SLE.
