A Nature study found that social-media platforms shape how clinical trial information is shared and discussed during recruitment—Bluesky posts were more cohesive and research-oriented, while discussions on X were more fragmented and event-driven. The analysis did not evaluate post accuracy, but it highlighted differences in vocabulary and communication patterns. Lead author Marlena Krawczyk-Suszek of the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów, Poland, said sponsors and CROs could use the findings to tailor outreach and patient communication by platform. The work points to recruitment and information-access disparities as a practical execution issue for biotech trial teams, even when the underlying trial content comes from the same sources.
