Parse Biosciences and Nomic Bio announced an effort to build Cascade, a 100 million-cell, AI-ready foundational dataset aimed at modeling the human immune response. The partnership combines 100 million single-cell RNA-seq profiles with more than 11,000 proteomic secretome profiles to map how immune cells respond to treatments over time. The dataset is described as multimodal and perturbation-focused, covering responses across multiple timepoints and more than 150,000 cytokine and drug perturbation conditions. Parse said RNA-seq profiling will be performed through its GigaLab service, while Nomic will generate secretome readouts using its Omini 1000 platform to measure more than 1,000 secreted proteins per sample. The companies say Cascade already has foundational commitments from pharma and biotech partners including GSK, Pfizer, Sanofi, Graph Therapeutics, and Turbine, reflecting demand for high-scale immune-mechanism data to support target discovery, validation, and predictive “virtual” modeling efforts.
