AstraZeneca will use Oracle’s AI and real-world data tools to speed up clinical trial recruitment across multiple therapeutic areas, with a first program focused on identifying patients with uncontrolled hypertension in collaboration with M42. The partnership will also support reusable components and outcome measures to assess whether successful approaches can scale. For trial sponsors, the planned integration aims to reduce time-to-enrollment and strengthen continuous evidence generation during the medicine lifecycle. It also adds to a growing set of recruitment-focused analytics partnerships. AstraZeneca CEO Pascal Soriot linked the initiative to identifying patients sooner and optimizing trial operations, while Oracle emphasized turning better data use into better outcomes.
