Veeva Systems unveiled Study Builder, an agentic AI tool intended to accelerate clinical trial study configuration for sponsors using existing EDC and data quality workflows. The technology ingests a structured trial protocol and draft configurations across Veeva EDC and its Data Quality System using CDISC Unified Study Definitions Model standards, Veeva said. Veeva stated that configuration outputs, including EDC form setup and visit scheduling, can be generated within about 24 hours with human oversight. The plugin will be available to licensees starting in December and is offered at no additional cost for sponsors already using Veeva EDC, positioning it as a pragmatic automation layer for trial build timelines.
