PacBio and Verily Health expanded their partnership to integrate PacBio HiFi long-read sequencing with Verily’s clinical data platform. The collaboration aims to generate clinico-genomic datasets and to support AI model training and deployment using governance and analysis workflows connected to Verily Pre. Under the deal, sequencing workflows will be linked with Verily Pre’s Workbench environment for aggregating and curating HiFi datasets alongside real-world clinical information. Verily also plans to use its trusted agentic environment for AI model training and inference. Executives said the goal is to help researchers and innovators address unmet needs in neurology, oncology, rare disease and other areas, while acknowledging that long-read integration with clinical data typically requires custom pipelines. Financial terms, specific customers, and timelines were not disclosed.
