Pathos AI expanded its oncology licensing and collaboration portfolio by signing multiple deals tied to bispecific ADC and degrader programs. The company acquired rights to a bispecific antibody-drug conjugate drug from Alphamab that could represent a first-in-class cancer drug class, and it separately began a partnership with AstraZeneca on a protein degrader from the pharma’s cancer pipeline. In an additional update, Pathos AI also agreed to a $2.09 billion licensing deal with Jiangsu Alphamab for a TROP2/HER3 bispecific ADC, extending exclusive rights outside mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. Taken together, the transactions underscore Pathos’ strategy of building an oncology pipeline through high-value licensing and co-development alliances, with AI acting as the operating layer for target selection and portfolio execution.
