French synthetic biology firm DNA Script signed a distribution pact for its Syntax enzymatic DNA synthesis instrument in India with Imperial Life Sciences (ILS). The deal covers sales, technical support, and applications expertise across the Indian market, supporting customers’ in-house synthesis workflows. Syntax is built to produce single-stranded DNA oligonucleotides rapidly at the bench, and DNA Script has already announced Syntax distribution deals in Latin America, South Korea, and Japan earlier this year. In practice, expanding instrument distribution supports the enabling ecosystem for genomics and molecular biology workflows that feed directly into drug discovery and translational research pipelines.
