Scientists have developed a novel artificial intelligence (AI) model named Delphi-2M that simultaneously forecasts an individual's risk of developing more than 1,000 diseases with up to 20 years of lead time. Trained on extensive UK Biobank data, the model integrates health records and lifestyle factors to generate personalized health trajectories. This multi-disease predictive capability represents a significant advancement over prior AI models limited to predicting single conditions, with potential to improve preventive healthcare by identifying high-risk patients early.
