Medable launched its Digital Data Flow (DDF) Agent to convert static clinical trial protocols into machine-readable structured data in CDISC USDM 4.0 JSON format. Medable said the system can automatically generate electronic clinical outcomes assessments and propagate protocol changes across downstream systems. The agent is intended to reduce manual interpretation of protocol documents that often slows eCOA creation and complicates amendment traceability. Medable framed the release around FDA expectations for real-time clinical trials with continuous data review. For sponsors, the announcement signals a push toward keeping protocol logic, endpoints, and safety-related workflows synchronized as studies scale across systems.
