OneOncology, a network of community oncology practices, will embed OpenEvidence’s AI chatbot and search engine into physician workflows, aiming to support decision-making and accelerate literature access at the point of care. The plan includes later integration with OneOncology’s genomic and clinical trial matching datasets. OpenEvidence’s system can assemble clinical workups, help compute formulas, draft prior authorization letters, and suggest tests to order, positioning it as more than reference content. OneOncology says the platform is HIPAA compliant and can help clinicians track newly approved targeted therapies and biomarker-guided guidelines. The tie-up highlights the expanding push to incorporate AI into real clinical operations—beyond research settings—while raising ongoing questions about reliability and regulatory consistency in practice.
