Boulevard emerged from stealth with about $65 million in launch financing to build B cell–directed therapies, supported entirely by Deerfield Management and its internal discovery engine, 3DC. The company said it is advancing three multi-specific antibody programs aimed at more durable control of chronic autoimmune disease with longer dosing intervals. Boulevard’s lead asset, BLVD101, is a bispecific antibody targeting BAFF and APRIL, cytokines central to B cell survival and activation. The company is initially evaluating the program in IgA nephropathy and highlighted interim Phase 1 signals from healthy volunteers suggesting a possible once-every-12-weeks dosing schedule. The stealth-to-clinic transition will be watched for whether early safety and pharmacodynamics support the hypothesized quarterly regimen, as dosing frequency is a practical differentiator in autoimmune adherence and long-term tolerability.
