Researchers from the Technical University of Denmark and industry partners, including Novo Nordisk and SiC Systems, have developed an integrated agentic AI platform called SIC that autonomously orchestrates sensor data and process optimization in biomanufacturing facilities. By combining digital twins with multiagent AI and real-time execution systems, SIC enhances automation and precision in process control, overcoming fragmented sensor data and enabling adaptive scale-up strategies. This next-generation control architecture aims to reduce costs and improve efficiency in complex biological and chemical production.
