A Dutch pilot study reported that the magnetic tracer Magtrace successfully identified sentinel lymph nodes in early-stage epithelial ovarian cancer during open surgery. If validated in larger cohorts, the tracer approach could offer a radiation-free alternative to radioactive tracers for mapping surgical staging targets.
